Student Counselling Placement

FJ Academy was founded in 2001 believing that everyone at some time in their lives will need some sort of talking therapy.

FJ Academy has counselled within many different organisations, Organisations, Schools and privately therapy.

We have always believed that Counselling should be available for all, irrelevant of status, income, personal or environmental development.

We are excited to be able to offer sliding-scale counselling sessions, (depending on the depth of Personal issues).

These sessions will be provided by Level 4 Psychotherapy students on their placements; Level 4 is split into two years. L4 1st year Counselling Adults. L4 2nd year 30% Counselling Children and Young People.

Last year we provided counselling to Adults; many, at some time may have struggled to talk to a therapist. By using the student placement program they regained their Confidence, positive outlook on their life and an understanding of self and their goals in life; L4 Y1 was a great success.

September sees a new academic year, the start of Level 4 Y2 Psychotherapists offering this same service to Children, Young people and families.

This will become a roll-on roll-off Placement program for Level 4  Psychotherapists.
